Dr. ImportSerbian donkey cheese

Donkey cheese in Singapore

An honest account of what can and cannot be done for buyers in Singapore, from an importer based in Switzerland.

Why Singapore

Singapore has one of the densest fine-dining scenes in Asia and a regulator that is strict but unusually clear about its requirements, which makes enquiries here easier to answer than most.

If you are a restaurant group with an existing import licence, the conversation is much shorter. Mention it in your first message.

What the rules require

In broad terms, dairy imports require a licence from the Singapore Food Agency and must come from accredited sources, with the accreditation attaching to the producing establishment. We are importers, not your customs broker: treat this as orientation and verify with the authority or agent handling your consignment.
